This speech hould be memorized by every single gay and lesbian and transgendered and queer and..... Our very own pledge of allegiance. Every time I hear this speech I remember that I was that scared kid in Des Moines, that hopeful child in Altoona. But Harvey has always been the seed of hope in my life.
